This project earned first place at the county level History Day competition, they then went on to the virtual California State History Day in May, 2020.

Although it is a brief lesson plan, it provides insightful questions to ask students. This plan can be used in one class period or for a week-long lesson when combined with a lesson that shows Chinese New Year celebrations in the United States.
